Tales of Interest! The Voynich Manuscript

I was thinking about wanting to find a real mystery, something utterly incomprehensible that might be worth looking into, and so I found myself browing the APOD, and came to this entry. Here's the poop:

" The ancient text has no known title, no known author, and is written in no known language: what does it say and why does it have many astronomy illustrations?"

Sounds interesting to me, anyway. I wondered if Boingboing had heard of it, since bizarre ancient crypto texts are right up their alley, and sure enough they had, back in 2002. Here's a reasonable place to start if you want to learn more, as linked from the BB post. Having found the mystery, I am content to simply be aware of it's existence and wait for more talented people figure it out. So get on with it already!
