World Wind, via Bittorrent

Cool app, this sums it up:
World Wind lets you zoom from satellite altitude into any place on Earth. Leveraging Landsat satellite imagery and Shuttle Radar Topography Mission data, World Wind lets you experience Earth terrain in visually rich 3D, just as if you were really there.

I've yet to download it, but I have seen it in action Stonker's absolutely massive monitor. It was very, very cool. And now it's available for download via Bittorrent, which is a great way to get large files. Here is the recommended system specs from the WW site, so you don't download it in vain:

• 700 MHz or higher CPU
• 128 MB RAM
• 1 GB disk space (World Wind's cache size is 2 GB by default; you must reduce the size of your cache - Someone put a link here or instructions)
