Cool paper that describes the various structures of teenage relationships at a high school in the States. too bad they don't have the corresponding pic of adult relationships (they mention them but there's no visual).

Ancient Japanese cuisine, destroyed

This one is for friends of mine who can finally combine their favourite foods into one horrifying meal.

I was going to upload the image, which is great, but it's more fun this way:

Twinkies and fruit roll-ups.

I dare you not to go see what the hell I'm talking about.

I double-dog dare you

I like clouds

From the venerable Fark.com, I give you a bunch of pictures of enormous cloud formations. And some dogs. And trees. But mostly clouds, I swear.

Something to look forward to

Audrey Tautou.
Le yum.

She's in the upcoming film version of "The DaVinci Code" which you must have heard about by now. There are a wide variety of opinions on the worth of the book, which usually means it's really good in some way, but people then make the mistake of believing it is either Perfect or Terrible. People are getting their theological panties in a knot over the "accuracy" of this book, which happens to be a work of FICTION. And so but anyway, the thing I found most interesting about it was all the talk about symbolism, and the use of symbols to direct/misdirect human beings.

Anyway, Audrey's in it, and so is Tom Hanks (whose eyes are *also* dreamy but I just don't have the space) so I'm definitely going to see it. Now you know. Check the link for futher linkage on the whole ball of wax.
