Rez Vibrator

In interweb terms, this is old news (2002) but I provide it here as a service to those of you who have not yet read it. Probably don't wanna read it at work -- there are a couple of NSFW images in there. If you're having trouble getting your girlfriend into gaming, it's worth a shot. In general, Game Girl Advance is what gaming journalism should be, as compared to the Fox-ish IGN, which I won't link because it's filthy and horrid. Actually, a fellow blogger I've mentioned before has even written an article for them (GGA that is). I really enjoy his writing; he hates the world and he's very eloquent about it. Speaking of which, if you hate the world and would like to destroy it, here's a good place to start.

PS - I have the attention span of a gnat right now. I blame the wine.

Mule vs. Mountain Lion

mule vs. lion
Originally uploaded by Oranguthingy.
I neeeeed to get to sleep, but this is too good to wait. Never would have thought that a mule could thrash a lion, but there you have it. This is the best one, but other pics are available through the link.

Update: Apparently, the consensus is that the lion in the pictures is actually dead, and the mule is just having a bit of fun with the corpse. Who knew mules were so weird?

Today is Free Mojtaba and Arash Day

There is a campaign circulating the blogosphere, starting today, with the aim of raising awareness about two Iranian bloggers who have been jailed. Nearly 20 people have been arrested over the past three months in a crackdown against the online press. This particular campaign is drawing attention to Arash Sigarchi and Mojtaba Saminejad. Check out the link for more details and information on what you can do to help. From an article:

When asked if this campaign will work and if the Iranian government will listen and release both Mojtaba and Arash, he told me about Sina, a freed Iranian blogger, "Sina credited the attention of the blogosphere for making the Iranian authorities extremely uncomfortable and letting him go. We're hoping the same thing will happen here."
